Circulon offers hard anodized aluminum cookware in a few distinct designs. A Meyer Manufacturing corporation which started in 1984, Circulon does not try to make a lot of product lines. They simply excel in a few key areas.

Circulon Cookware Innovations

Circulon cookware lays claim to the toughest nonstick surface on the market that will outlast all others. They offer the unique Hi-Low wave technology where the bottom cooking surface of the pan has hi – low ridges. The ridges help separate oils and fats from the food, minimize the surface that touches the food, and helps release food from the pan. Circulon is an innovator with their Induction stovetop unit which works great with their Infinite Circulon cookware. The Infinite Circulon line is the first hard anodized cookware with a nonstick surface that is completely dishwasher safe.

Cleaning Circulon Hi-Low Grooves:

Here are the instructions on cleaning Circulon cookware, directly from Circulon:

“To clean your Circulon non-stick hi-low grooves use warm soapy water and a soft nylon brush, rinse and dry. Pans must be cleaned each time they are used to prevent food buildup in the grooves. If your non-stick hi-low grooves no longer release food easily, you may have a build-up of food or grease in the grooves. To restore your non-stick performance mix three parts water to one part white vinegar and boil in your pan on medium heat for 5-10 minutes. Let stand until cool and wash with warm soapy water and a soft nylon brush, rinse and dry. Hard-anodized Circulon cookware is not safe to put in the dishwasher. Do not use oven cleaners, steel wool, harsh detergents or cleansers with chlorine bleach.

Never use metal utensils on your non-stick hi-low grooves. We recommend using Circulon Kitchen Accessories and Tools, like our Circulon Scrub Brush made specifically for cleaning the non-stick hi-low grooves of your Circulon Cookware.”
